Linda Florio Zintel

I love studying yoga and sharing its wisdom. When I began practicing, I was interested in exploring and understanding healthy breathing and healthy posture. Ten years later, yoga remains my teacher about the big things in life. I especially love sharing yoga wisdom with women in preparation for motherhood. Breathwork, re-posturing, and meditation help align body and mind with the transformative strength inherent in pregnancy.

In approach, I feel closest to the Viniyoga tradition of adapting yoga to the person, rather than the person to yoga. I strive to offer well-rounded and grounding practices that encourage each to balance challenge and restoration.

In 2011-12, I lived in the United Kingdom and studied Foundations with Paul Harvey at the Center for Yoga Studies in Bristol. In 2013, I took the Sivananda 200 hour Teacher Training in Kerala, India, followed in 2014-15 by 80 hours of Pregnancy Yoga study with BCY back in Bristol. In 2016, I attended the Street Yoga trauma-informed training in Seattle. My current studies are drawn to somatics and Tias Littleā€™s Prajna Yoga.

In addition to teaching yoga since 2011, I am a life coach with a Ph.D. in personal and leadership development. I teach on programs like Personal Transformation For Leaders at the Cranfield School of Management and Stellar, an outdoor program of the British Exploring Society. Originally from Italy, I have been enjoying getting to know Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
