Hillary Aldassy

Hillary initially sought yoga as a physical tool to care for her body and found it to be an ideal counterbalance to a stressful career. With the goal of helping others find similar balance, she has embarked on a journey that meant a break from her career to study and teach yoga. Her self-awareness, intuition and empathy translate into classes that are comforting, supportive, and inspiring for students of any age or ability level. Hillary uses humor, anecdotes from her own practice, and ideas for incorporating small movements and mindfulness into daily life to reinforce to students that yoga has great benefit even in small doses. Hillary completed her 200 hour Vijnana Yoga training with Kathryn Payne at Island Yoga Center on Vashon Island. Recognizing that yoga is an “evolving process” for most of us, she draws on advice and techniques from the wonderful community of teachers at Limber to deepen her own practice and teaching skills.
